We can probably all agree that Christmas at Gaylord Opryland is one of the most magical and beautiful times there. But this past weekend, we had our annual summer trip to Gaylord Opryland and was given the opportunity to experience Late Night SoundWaves Package and now I’m so torn. If this doesn’t make us start taking Christmas in July a little more serious nothing will. It was beautiful and serene and a bit fun and wild. Oh and the best part, I didn’t have to remind family to reapply sunscreen! IYKYK.

Having a 10 and 12 year old has changed how we can travel and what vacation looks like. So if you are a parent of young kids, know freedom is right around the corner. Gaylord Opryland and Soundwaves has always been a place that makes vacationing easy! From the food and beverages delivered to seats, to the indoor/outdoor attractions, to the cabanas for baby naps, a weekend at Opryland allows the whole family to enjoy the experience. But as kids get a bit older and we are no longer counting down the minutes to bedtime where we retreat to the bathroom for a bathroom bevie and to reconnect after a long day, we are always on the hunt to have adventures after dark.

Late Night SoundWaves Package provided just that! After a full day at Soundwaves, we retreated in a bit early to rest and recharge, grab dinner before heading back out for late night that starts at 8:30pm and runs until midnight. And guess what? Collectively, this was our favorite version of our annual trip to Soundwaves.
Family-Friendly Atmosphere: The Late Night SoundWaves Package provides a safe and welcoming environment for families with tweens and teens, ensuring a fun night out for everyone. If you know me, you know I’m neurotic with my children and their safety. This is a place I can comfortably take my kids and know I don’t have to follow them around making it so much more enjoyable for myself.
All-Ages Entertainment: Enjoy a variety of entertainment options suitable for tweens, teens, and parents alike, including live music, Soundwaves attractions both side and outside are all open, as well as having an arcade.
Quality Family Time: Parents are always trying to find new ways to bond with their tweens and teens. Now you can add waterslide racing, surfing, dance party, and so much more to your shared memories. There really is something for everyone. Oh and the crowds were definitely less, so more time to ride and less time in lines.
Convenient Amenities: Need a late night snack or bevie? Refreshments and optional dining options are available so you can relax and enjoy your time together without any hassle. Don’t worry, all the fun food and beverages we have come to love at Soundwaves is still available Late Night. Def get the Blue Note!!!

There is something special about taking your first family road trip because every stop, unexpected moment, and shared laugh becomes part of a lasting memory. The drive to Florida sounds like a wonderful way to experience that togetherness while also discovering new places along the way. I especially appreciate the idea that family travel does not always have to be perfectly planned to be enjoyable. Having reliable transportation is still important, whether it is a long American road trip or arranging Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha during an African adventure.
