Not long ago I shared with you all my first Botox experience HERE. I had a lot of people asking me where I went and wanting a good recommendation. And because I value our friendship, I didn’t feel right recommending the first place I had Botox. There wasn’t a specific reason to feel like it wasn’t a good fit. I just didn’t love it and didn’t feel like it would be a good place to send my friends. I did give them two chances just in case they were having a one-off day.
So the search began for a new MedSpa. I wanted to find a place that was closer to home and well respected. I asked around and then went to a couple Facebook groups and the overwhelming response came back Glow MedSpa. So I made my first appointment.
I’d like to consider myself relatively patient but when it is time to get refreshed I am not. So I called to make an appointment and was greeted by Ginger who got me scheduled right in. They offer extended hours during the week as well as weekend hours, so literally no excuse. Not only was she super friendly but she was also so knowledgeable, answering all my questions before ever going in.
The day of my appointment I walked in and met Ginger, shes even kinder and more friendly in person. Filled out the necessary paperwork, then was promptly taken back to chat with Tonia, Master Injector. I love a medical clinic that runs on schedule! If you remember in my last post about Botox, I like to keep things on a budget. So when she asked me what I was thinking, I instantly brought up budgets. She quickly stopped me and said “I’d rather not work within your budget. I’d rather you tell me what you want to see different and then I’ll explain costs to get there. That way we aren’t just spending money that may not need to be spent.” OMG, that makes sense. The two times prior at the other place, we met my budget to the penny each time! Hmmm.
So we got to work. Well, she got to work. Taking before pictures. Drawing markings on my face. All things that had never happened before. It was an extremely painless procedure. I was in and out a little too soon actually. They are so fun I could have stayed all day.
Then the wait. That’s the one negative downfall of botox. I want it to work immediately. But after about a week Glow MedSpa sent me a message to see how everything was going. Since this was the first she had injected me plus we did around my eyes which I had never done before she asked for pictures to see if I needed to come back in to add more. I love good customer service. Knowing they care made all the difference in the world to me.
You all need to sign up for their newsletter because they send out amazing monthly specials. The specials on top of the already great pricing is definitely one of the reasons I picked them. Oh and you all know how much I love Brilliant Distinctions rebate program, and they accept that too on top of their great pricing!
