I am a self proclaimed bargain hunter when it comes to home decor. As a serial redecorator, I have a hard time spending big money on beautiful pieces because they most likely won’t be around very long. I’m pretty sure Opalhouse just made me ready to commit to for the long haul. It is basically the best Anthropologie Home dupe I have ever in my life seen.
Opalhouse launched today as Target’s newest in-house home offerings brand and seamlessly mixes all things wonderful into one beautiful collection. Macrame, fringe, pompoms, velvet, color, rattan and more make this should-have-been-born-in-the-70s-soul heart flutter.
For years I have had to search high and low at thrift stores and flea markets for eclectic and unique pieces to mix in with my current design. Then Target comes thru for me and basically curates a collection that was made for me. So now my home shopping will all be done from my couch, not in real pants.
3 Opalhouse Collections that Make Up the Line
- Indochic – Deep tones meet luxe materials (hello, velvet!) & exotic elements for an adventurous-yet-refined look.
- Canyon Sunrise – Lots of pink & orange-y tones bring on that feeling of basking in the dry southwestern sun.
- Mallorca – Get ready for contrast: Black & white, bold yet delicate. Oh, and lots of medallions & crochet.
And the best part about these collections is that all go so well together. In fact, I can’t pick my favorite. There are things in each on that I find fabulous and when paired with other pieces from the other collections.
I have picked a few of my favorite items below (in no particular order) and will be adding more as they come out.
